Community Wide Shred Day
April 2014 |
On Satuarday, April 5, 2014 approximately 35 cars passed through First State Bank’s parking lot to drop off items to be shredded. Shred Right provided the service to Britt’s community shred day sponsored by First State Bank of Britt and Woden. For two hours cars came and went and a total of 1,200 pounds was shredded. The bank sponsored this community shred day to highlight the importance of protecting your personal identity by securely shredding old records and documents that may have sensitive information on them such as social security numbers. Pictured is Bob Gopperton of Britt along with Kevin Lynch of Shred Right. Bob was able to watch his items being shredded via a monitor on the side of the truck.
